Let me tell you something: I can relate to your dorky guy. I had my heart broken by my friend today. It really hurt me, and still does hurt. It was like a harsh slap in the face. But in time, I suppose I will recover.

he may see something that you don't.... he may be confused b/c this is a great friendship.... or he just likes you, and if you don't want to go out w/ a "dorky" guy b/c he seems unpopular w/ everyone else, there's something wrong. of course, he might not like you. ask him though, it's better than standing around making assumptions

First off, nobody should hate you. Just tell your friend you really love the frienship, but aren't interested in anything more than that. Be nice about it. Good luck

omg okay see this nerd was like in love with me it was soo disgusting! i mean seriously i kno how you feel! i don't like hurting ppls feelings and all but gurl u gotta tell him how u feel lol
cuase when i didn't it went tooooo far! he started sexually harrasing me and was like hitting on me i was like eww i don't like u go away but does he? no so he keeps trying to touch me (ew yes i kno) and finally he got written up and in like 5 mins the whold grade knew bout it and the next day the ppl that were absent wanted to kno what happened and he said that he raped me so yeah thats when i told my mom and she called that boys father up and omg it was halarious! haha now he doesn't even look at me lol so anyways haha tell him how you feel i kno i don't like hurting ppls feelins either but hey u gotta do it some how just be like i'm srry but i don't feel that way

Be honest but polite. Tell him that you know how he feels but you just don't feel the same way. Let him know that you can't offer him anything but friendship and friends are honest with each other. Tell him that you are sorry, but you needed to be honest with him.
