Windows has a built in screen saver called "my pictures slide show".
I would avoid downloading screen savers and themes from the Internet. Most contain malware. Even downloaded from reputable sites.

depends on if you mean background or screensaver wich is more likley, to make ur screensaver a slideshow simply go to control panel ......display......screensaver.... then select my pictures slide show, if it really is a background slideshow I have never heard of it
