When I was a freshman i started really having feelings for a friend of mine. I was really shy, and even after she told me she liked me, i didnt act upon it A month or so later she started dating this guy They dated for 2 years. They have been broke up for about a month and a half. One weekend we hung out all day then she found out I still liked her. She at first told me she wasnt ready for a boyfriend yet. And that was fine. Three days later she gave me a note that said she just wanted to be friends. I had to leave school that day, that night i talked to her for about three hours. For just over a month we talked everynight that long She gradually got to where she told me she liked me Then just out of the blue on Saturday...nothing. She told me she just wanted to be friends. I consider her one of my best friends she feels the same way. She doesnt want to get back together with him. But she told me she still loves him. I love her and she knows. She is my first love. What do i do.

Quit playing the friend game. Tell her you want her as a girlfriend and ask her out on a date. If she refuses, move on. Check back with her in a few months.
