you need to walk up to this boy and say i know so and so said that i hate you, i just wanted you to know i don't give him a seductive smile and walk away slowly. he'll come to you if he likes you.

You should not let a boy get in between you and your friend. First you should work things out with your friend and then you can go to this boy and tell him what had happened and tell him your REAL feelings.

Your "friend" isn't really a friend. Try to make up, but if not, then it doesn't matter either.
Talk to the guy. Tell him what really happened.
Everyone hates confrontation, but its usually the best solution.

look for an oportunity to talk to this guy, and stay away from your "friend", because this guy could be the love of your life, and he can go away because YOU didn't told him the truth about what you realy feel for him.
PS what this lady did to you is not friendly so . i conclude that she is not your friend, a friend is a person who want to see you happy.

Just tell him yourself! Say you would like to clarify something that may have been told to him, and tell him it is not true!
Then, that should start a really interesting conversation...
Plus, I would not consider your friend a friend any longer!
