No rough-housing, no playing in water. Try to limit the amount she jumps (onto sofas, etc.).
Otherwise, just keep an eye on the incision to make sure it doesn't tear.

The vet will go through all this with you, but to put your mind at ease until that time I'll give you a heads up :-)
Your dog will have her stitches out at the vets in two weeks time. Until then, no running around for her, as this will pull on the stitches. Lead/harness walks only! If she bothers the stitches, she may need a Buster collar (cone), at least over night or when you're not with her to stop her.
Otherwise, just keep her quiet if you can, and provide a nice warm comfy bed for her to rest on. Offer her food as normal, don't be concerned if she's not interested for the first night, she might still be woozy from the anaesthetic, but should be quite back to normal by the next day. She might also have a slight cough from the tube they place in her airway, this should also be gone by the next day.
Congrats on being a responsible owner - bit of a rare thing on these boards!

If your dog was in heat during the spay, it is very important to keep other dogs away from her. Make sure you keep the incision dry and as clean as possible. Also, check the incision regularly to make sure they are not gapped open. Some vets use glue instead of stitches. If you have stitches, make sure you find out if they have to be removed in 10 days or if they will dissolve.
Don't put any ointment on your dog unless your vet tells you. She may lick the incision which is fine, but make sure she doesn't remove the stitches before time. Good luck with this procedure and thank you for being a responsible pet owner.

Let her sleep alot and don't give her too much exercise. That's a start. Give her a comfy bed and don't let any other dogs pester her until she recovers. They could rip the stitches out if not the pup herself so even with dogs that she is friendly towards, do not leave her unsupervised. Bless you for getting her an appointment for spaying.

ya definately don't encourage excessive exercise, particularly jumping, in the first week. other than that, she'll learn ways to make herself feel better!
