Get a college degree, move out, get your own apartment and pay for all that yourself.

You really can't. The decision is ultimately hers, and you should respect it.

Trust me, I'm sixteen and it was only a little while ago I was begging my parents to let me pierce everything. They said no, so I got so many piercings without their permission. I've taken most out by now - and regret getting them so badly. Remember that piercings are a phase, you won't have them forever..but the ugly scars that come with them are permanent.

If you absolutely must, make a compromise with her. Ask her to let you do it if you get your grades up or do more chores or on your next birthday. And there will come a day when she won't be able to influence you, and you can do whatever you want with yourself. My best advice is just to wait for it.

Obviously you are quite young and are only looking at the now of everything. Anyone who tells you that you should or shouldn't do something would get the attention of a smelly fart. Right? You are wanting to keep up with the 'in' crowd and that is understood. Peer pressure and all that shiit. Well, it is going to be hard to imagine this but your mom is light years ahead of you in wisdom. She can probably imagine what she would look like today if she had hole scars and such in her nose. Why don't you try to imagine that. It is not going to be in style when you are in public trying to get a job 10 years from now.

You can`t, respect her authority till you`re 18. My daughter tried for years to convince me for a piercing and I told her only when she is 18. When she got 18 she didn't care for one anymore. If I had let her do it at 14 she would now have 50 piercings in her face.

I have to agree with most of the others. Your mom has good reasons. Try to see her view, and think about if you would want a pircing forever. Perhaps an ear piercing if you do not have one, or highlights, or even dying your hair a realistic color would be a good compromise. Do not do it without her permission, because she will be less willing to give permission for you to have freedoms in the future.

You are a kid and if she is against it you cant really.

You could try to bargain. Start with the hair. It grows out and is not permanent. You could see if she is open to a deal. Llike if I get a certain GPA, will she agree to let you get a piercing. But be prepared, she may still say no to all of it. You'll be 18 someday.

If you've asked her and she's already said no, trying to convince her is considered disrespect and dishonesty toward your parent. Doing those things is not a good idea anyway, and if your mom lets you, she should be ashamed for letting you run over her, and you should be ashamed for doing it.

save up enough for it. then when you have the money have a calm conversation. include the : "If this is the worst thing i ever do i'm a pretty good kid" argument, and try not to argue with her decision to show your maturity. for the piercings, tell her you understand you'll have 'em forever, and for the hair dye, say you'll try the temporary kind first to make sure you like the color.
