about dentures?

my uppers are really nice but for the gum part is so thick that it makes my lips stick out and its so noticeable my 13 year old son says it also can the dentist fix this problem

A NEW UPPER DENTURE NEEDS TO BE MADE OR THIS ONE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO THE LAB FOR A REBASE OF THE ACRYLIC.
