this is not appendicitis, it's probably coming from your intestines. If you've been constipated it would cause a cramping in the intestines. If this is the case use a fiber powdered supplement twice daily and eat lots of fresh fruit. Be sure you drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

"Always" is right. The appendix is really low on the groin and on the right. In early stages it won't hurt unless you press on it, and it doesn't feel like a pinch. Another early symptom is nausea. The only thing 2 inches to the left of your navel is your stomach. Serious stomach problems don't feel like a pinch, but if it persists have it checked out. You may ruin your B-Day, but it won't be because of an appendectomy. Hope this helps.

you could.
There is a very rare condition where literally your organs are in mirror position. I have known a person to have this and appendicitis was misdiagnosed because of it. Mind you, this is EXTREMELY rare. It is probably something else, but if you've never had a CAT scan or MRI on your internal organs (I'm not a doctor, maybe you shouldn't get one), you might want to get that checked out.
I wouldn't worry too much, just schedule a doctor's appointment if it persists

Most likely, the source of the pain is your intestines. You may want to see a doctor to see if you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) if the pain persists. I have the pain in the same exact place, and fiber supplements, plus water, plus changes in my diet have helped tremendously. But you'll need a doctor to get an image of your abdomen to find out for sure. If it is IBS, go to helpforibs.com. It has great diet and supplement advice.
