He loves everyone , he hates the sinful life we choose .He loves us so much that he gave us his only begotten son to pay for the sins of the people who will trust and believe in him .

That is right Andrew if the story is right what you just got through saying is absolutely right and I hear you.

"""No matter what? Are we free to make God our punching bag and object of scorn and spitting all our lives and then suppose that He should be forced to endure our company forever? (Not that He has a body...)""

People that are so righteous do this to other people all the time and God is people and in all people if one understands that or not, and the fact is God may not like what we do and then again he may like what we do? He said not to argue over this at all actually he said to go in the closet and pray and whoever does he will hear them. He does not like those who call themselves Christians making a spectacle out of themself and it makes him rather irritated when we push our beliefs on others so much so that he has no room to work in their lives or show them his love. Universally speaking anyone can know a God if they want to or know the gods or a devil or the earth and moons or whatever they want to know spiritually isn't that right, and that is all religion one and the same.

You are right. God does love everyone all the time, no matter what. He sent Jesus to free us from our imperfection, so we could be with him.

Jesus claimed to be the only way to God, in John 14:6.

I don't "push my beliefs" on anyone, but Jesus did tell his disciples that we should share the good news about him with everyone who will listen. Maybe some people's enthusiasm about what Jesus has done for them seems pushy to some, but it is not meant to be. We just have found something wonderful, and we want others to have what we have found, that's all. Sorry if you or anyone else has been offended......

God said that He makes it rain on the just and the unjust. He gives all a fighting chance. You have lived with complete freedom, yet given by whom? You can say and read what you want, yet did you at any time try Him? Did you ever once remember what He has done? So you denied your Father and your birthright and turned from His favor, and now you ask " why don't I have His favor?" and "Why doesn't He answer me?" To treat ANYONE like that and expect to be loved eternally by that person is the attitude of the self-righteous. You hate Him, He will return the favor, even human wisdom would tell you that but instead you have to ask everyone else.

God's exceeding love is also matched by his exceeding purity and perfection.

So if we went into His presence on our own merits we could not stand the holiness; we would literally be expelled into outer darkness.

God's love means He has provided a way for each person's sins to be dealt with so that He can unconditionally love them. Basically all their sins are imputed to Jesus, and they are given a new spirit, and the Holy Spirit to start transforming them. But that is by faith in Christ.

So I think God is unconditionally loving *only* if you get your sins atoned for in that way, otherwise you have to meet His absolute purity unprepared at the Judgment after physical death.

(There will be exceptions of course; we may trust God to do the right thing with the mentally deficient and children, and those unavoidably ignorant of God's salvation plan.)

For starters read the following:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

If that has your attention, read the following:

John 3:3
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "
Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Don't let your pride get in the way of the above requirement. Humble yourself before the God of the Universe and repent !!!

No matter what? Are we free to make God our punching bag and object of scorn and spitting all our lives and then suppose that He should be forced to endure our company forever? (Not that He has a body...)

You see, there is plenty of evidence that God does not love unconditionally - "IF any man love me, he will keep my commandments, and I will love him..." Jesus

There's a lot more of this sort of thing in the OT, but I just wanted to point out that those who preach the unconditional love of God are a bit uninformed. God's love is unconditional in one sense only: He is patient and willing to enter into a relationship. It is a redeeming love. If we fail to be redeemed, in the end, we will be the subjects of wrath, rejection, and punishment.

Do you love everything inside you ??? Neither did God in the beginning. That which He didn't like He seperated , then used creation to justify His actions. We show forth that righteous judgement daily. We "choose" what we like and dislike, then go for what we like. The question comes down to : What we like ! What we will hold on to ! What we will deny.

He does. Unfortunately people have been brainwashed to believe in an angry, vengeful, jealous God.

In truth God is pure, total, unconditional, infinite, eternal Love. When we make choices in our lives that radiate Love we are aligning ourselves with the true nature of God and we are drawn closer to His presence. When we make choices that are selfish and fear based we are removed further from His presence. Thus by separating ourselves from the source of all Love and Joy in the universe we create our own hell.

There is no actual hell and no judgment aside from the immutable laws of cause and effect mentioned above. God waits with infinite love and eternal patience for us to complete our adventures in physical life by learning the lessons Jesus demonstrated for us - love even your enemies as all are expressions of the divine.

In the end everyone finds their way back to the loving arms of the Creator. Nobody gets left behind, no soul gets lost. The only guarantee in the universe is indescribable joy in the lap of God.

Well He did, and He does! Tell me who of you would sacrifice your Son, who knew no sin, did no sin, was holy and just and righteous, was Love incarnate. Who died for the worst blasphemer, yourself, Who died for the most horrendous criminal - yourself, Who took your Hell who did not derserve your Hell, but took because He loved you. Who knew no sin but came a sin offerring for us. Who exchanged His robes of righteousness with us, so that we may wore His. Who exchanged our names his for ours and ours for his. Who exchanged our sinfullness for His goodness, holiness his loveliness. Now tell he doesn't love everyone - try and tell me that you really are going to be a lie. You say how did demonstrate that by dying on a cross and providing grace unmerited favor that any who wholly believing in His Name would receive the salvation of their souls.

He made this salvation a free gift, -
not because He had to because:

HE

LOVED

YOU!

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
THAT HE GAVE
HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON
SO THAT WHOSOEVER
BELIEVETH IN HIM
SHALL NOT PERISH
BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE

John 3:16

Why should He love any of us!?
I know I do not deserve His great love!

See Romans 5:8-9.
Know that the grace of God is so good.
