If you had to choose between the following which would you choose (if you're a bride to be, which would you prefer)

Pay for babysitter and go to a friends wedding but just bring a crad and no gift
or
Buy a small gift but not go to the wedding?

Note: My husband is a groomsman and will go even if I stay home with the kids. The bride and groom paid for half the tux for my husband.

Get a Card, your presence is obviously important to them since they are even paying for 1/2 the tux. I would never, ever want one of my friends to not come to my wedding because they couldn't afford a gift for me. Get a babysitter andI am sure they will understand.

I personally would pay for a babysitter and just bring a card, especially since your husband is in the wedding. What's most important is your presence and true friend will think that's gift enough. It's obvious that your friends understand your situation since they helped pay for your husbands tux. So I'd go ahead and have a good time celebrating with your friend and have a special evening with your husband.

If your husband is a groomsman, you should be at the wedding. What about taking your kids to the wedding? I think weddings are more joyous with children present.

If that isn't an alternative, then go to the wedding, and give them a card. I'd rather have a good friend at my wedding than a present.

I would go to the wedding and just bring a card. Your friends will understand and it will be more important to be there on their special day, then a gift would be.
If you are feeling badly about the gift, get them a little something in a few months when you can afford it, and if not they will understand.

Well I would get a babysitter. But usually if I do go to weddings I get the couple a gift either way.

I as well suggest going to the wedding and just taking a card. It's nice it get away from the kids once in a while. If you feel quilty for not getting them anything... You could always buy a small something later.....

Up till final wintry weather i might decide on wintry weather at any time when. Something approximately the list quantity of snow that i needed to shovel, push, plow or snow-blow clear of constructions, roofs, sidewalks and driveways introduced a down aspect to wintry weather. I will move with wintry weather after a pause for inspiration as my favourite recreation (Ice Hockey) cannot quite be performed with out wintry weather, proper?

Go to the wedding with your family (obviously, why would you leave a child at a sitter?), and take a small gift.
