Do you ever get to the stage where you feel you have no fight left in you? Look at this damned planet we live on, there's no explanation for the slaughter of innocents, no explanation for kids sold into slavery, no explanation for alleged religious zealouts killing themselves and others. I'm just done with it. Life up on my hill in the middle of nowhere is wonderful, my little ones are well and happy, and safe.
But today, I can't even be bothered to disagree with a certain scots lass!!!!!!!!
It'll be all fine tomorrow, I'm having a cr#p one.

Hello Andy, you don't know me but i have followed some of your posts on here and know exactly what you mean...and i know I'm not the Scots lass your talking about..R&S has been a bit crazy recently as well as the rest of the world. Hang on in here, you speak for a lot of people.

I don't intend to fight the world, I just do my little part. I am living in the middle of nowhere, too, and I just love a day of no TV and all the crap that is on there.
As for the slaughter, slavery, and killing it has been going on forever and will never stop. I just keep my nose out of it since I can't to anything about it anyway.
Don't get me wrong, if I could I would, I don't like it either. But I just figure that is the way the world is. Is that called sticking your head in a hole? I hate to think I am like that.

This world may be bad but we can certainly have a better day tomorrow then we had today and keep that going if we choose to. When I don't watch the news< I feel much better. They are so negative about everything. This world is not nearly as bad as one might think. I had a bad day today but Friday will be Better! I hope that your is too. I guess we all feel that way sometimes. That's a part of the highs and lows of it. We have to take the bad with the good like it or not, be thankful for what we have, and pray for the rest. The religious zealots have to answer for themselves you know and thank God you are on that hill in the middle of nowhere giving your wee ones the best life you can give them. Respect to you for protecting what is dear to you and don't ever give up! Get mad, get even or just get over it, just please don't ever give up!

I know what you mean. The more I learn about politics from my AP Government and Politics class, the more I hate America. We're such bastards to the rest of the world! We don't follow the rules that we make other counties abide by.
