From a purely HISTORICAL perspective, who would you say is the most influencial person in history???
I don't care if you follow the teachings or beliefs of this person, just who has been the most influencial person.
I would guess Christians would say Christ. Muslims Mohammad, etc. Hence my question to yall!!
Give me a top two or three if you want NO religious leaders.
Thank You.

Here are some ideas: 1) More gaps in knowledge for a god to fill. 2) People by and large apparently wanted the comfort of religion. 3) Many probably converted from another religion so they believed in god(s) anyway making christianity less of a jump than atheism.

I honestly think it's impossible to say who that is. I suppose it would be the first person who discovered how to use tools...although I don't think that was Homo sapiens (Homo erectus, I think?), so that might not count. Probably some great leader, like Alexander the Great... without the leaders of the earliest wars of our civilization, nothing would be as it is now.

gosh thats a hard one.

Likely Emperor Augustus, as so much of our culture derives from that of ancient Rome, and he was the one to make Rome an Empire.

Might add Elizabeth I for a similar reason, although technically she would also rank as a religious figure, as head of the C of E

btw "yall" ?????

Jesus.

You have to think there was a man we now know as Jesus. And whether directly or indirectly he is responsible for the largest belief set in the world. So yeah Jesus.
