I am in charge of making a guestbook for my sister's wedding in June. I have never seen a homemade one, but I have heard they are really cute. Does anyone have pictures/websites that I could check out to get some ideas? OR, if you have tips to share with me on how to make it look great! THANKS!

ok, I am making my own. I am going onto Picaboo.com. I seen this done through wedding photographers that charge an arm and a leg. Here is what you do. Download the software, you then upload images and place them how you like. I am going to leave every other page blank so my guest can sign. The most expensive is an 8x10 leather book that costs $40 the cheapest is $10. GO to the section that says guestbook, it will give you ideas.

Hi. I also did what kateqd30 suggested. It came out very well. I got a white scrapbook with a whole cut in the front so a picture of my and my fiance would show throw. I glued pretty flowers on the front and wrote 'Guestbook' on the front. On each page I glued pretty scrapbooking paper that matched my wedding colors. I had everyone taking pictures from who they came with to our best friends. They all wrote something by their picture. It was the best idea!!! I loved how it came out and so did everyone else!!!! It's not very expensive either. =)

We do a fun guest book for our weddings and showers in my family maybe our book would be something you would like

Get a spiral bound scrap book without the plastic pages. The pages should be a heavier grade paper. Then with a polaroid camera take a picture of each person/couple or family and attache it to one page. On the page where the picture is the guests sign their names and write messages (they get better and better as the night goes on and the drinking get more heavy). Its an all night job to have, but its a really great keepsake for the couple and one of the things that they will always pull out and look through.

We made our guest book. We used a really pretty 'wedding' scrapbook that coordinated with our colors. We used blank colored and white pages, and got these self adhesive border/decorative strips from Target. We put 5 or so on every page, and then the guests just wrote messages on each colored strip, and everyone loved it. It came out really nice, and we are going to incorporate them into the less formal scrapbook we are making with our own pictures and photos that our friends took of the wedding and showers. It is also true that the messages get much funnier as the night goes on and people are drinking! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

You know what? If I were you, I would just go buy the guestbook. They aren't very expensive and it would take a ton of work and money to make one. Why not ask the bride if she needs help with something else after you buy the book?
You sound just so nice!

You should go to a craft store and see if anyone has any on display. Ask one of the staff if they know that person and ask how much they charge.

I have never seen one, but look on a scrapbooking site. I'm sure that you can come up with some good ideas.
