I think some people say that God did not give animals souls and so they just die and don't go anywhere.
I don't think I believe that.
My cats are smart and loving and good.
I think they will go to heaven when they pass on. Maybe there is like "animal heaven." And people who go to heaven get to see their pets there.

The Catholic Church has never had a defined doctrine on the souls of animals. The Bible definitely doesn't speak of them But the Bible is salvation history. It deals with man's fall from grace and man's redemption. There is no need for the Bible to discuss whether animals go to Heaven or not.
Thomas Aquinas taught that all life is a soul but only humans have an immortal soul. The Church has never taught that Thomas Aquinas was infallible.I had a priest friend, no longer living, who said apparently Aquinas never had a dog or pet of any kind.
One thing is man's fall from grace brought on suffering and death. Sinice aniimals share in our suffering and death, I think it is only right that they share in our redemption. That is my personal feelings.

I believe animals will definantly be in Heaven. I treated my dogs like members of the family, so if my deceased grandmother who is a member of the family is in heaven, why shouldn't my deceased dog be? Also, it says no where in the Bible that animals have no souls, people cannot just assume these things.

Most animals are atheists. so they don't see heaven. they don't quite understand the river of passing either. there brain waves just mindlessly make there way to another shell (body/fetus).

I believe they will be in the 1000 yr Reign of Christ While there are still Mortals here.I do not believe they will be in Heaven.I can:t find scripture to support animals in Heaven,

I tell everyone he is going to Heaven with me lol.

Since humans don't go to heaven, it is unlikely animals do.
