is it just me or in your area were you live has there been more violence since the virgina tech accident? i mean were i live it seems theres been a tons more since this happenend like they think just because that one person did that they think they can do whatever they feel
and what happenend to those days when everything was all good

With tomorrow being 4/20 (Columbine anniversary and Hitler's birthday) a school here is searching everyone that walks through the doors. Last fall, there was 3 boys that were found to have massive explosives and guns and what not at their homes. Much larger than Columbine and VT shooting. They are all in jail now on trial. But what has the world/schools and security come to these days!!!!

I live near Louisville, Kentucky. There were news reports tonight that stated there were many bomb threats at schools, including universities, in Louisville since the shootings at VT.
I cannot imagine what is going through people's heads to be so callous.

Yes. A 16 year old committed suicide after bringinga gun to school and another High school had a bomb threat. (North Carolina)

Junior high student found with gun in his backpack in a small (pop. 6700) south Texas town yesterday.
Maybe if they get that &hit off the tv 24/7, kids won't have so much info. I am sick of looking at that sick ba&tard. if the media has to be so invasive and openly let impressionable youngsters view this tragedy, let's focus on the victims...show how their families are grieving instead of showing some psycho rant about his delusional existence.

I live in ghetto where the gang violence is high and killing, too. Every night you have to watch your back. Some perves like to follow and irritate females, which some get raped. Child molestation, drive-by's, etc. So I'm used to see these or hear about these things. I think is nothing compare to what happends here. Peace!

No actual increase in violence, but several schools have been closed due to copycat threats around Colorado.

It's not just you. We had lockdowns at three schools for four hours yesterday because some little sh*t decided to drop a bomb threat note in the library book drop. I hope they catch him and send him to juvenile detention for the rest of his youth. (or her)
