Perfect age.. and "it takes years to be any good" it only takes years if u show up twice a month and your instructor is terrible. My advice keep the jj and then add in a hard art like karate then go to bjj. Then you will have a GREAT foundation. NOTE: this process should take around 8-9 years but u really cant get into MMA under 21 so why not spend a couple extra years training and if you think you are ready before the 8 year mark go right ahead.. it will be the thrill of your life.

I had my first cage fight when I was 35. I started B.J.J. when I was 36. Your never to old to start anything. I was 25 when I joined the Army, jumped from planes for 3 and a half years. NEVER let age stop you from doing something you want to do.

no. I'm 19 and just started a few months ago. One of my instructors was 29 when he started. Many schools won't even let you start training til you're 15 anyway.

Yes it is too old.
What the heck man how could you actually think 15 is to old. You will get beat up at first but you are still so young you could do really good if you stick with it.

It's never to old to start a martial art. You should begin your training as soon as possible. It's now or never, right?

Deep within you you know it is not to old, you are just asking this to make yourself feel good about the fact that most people who really wanna make it in martial arts start older than you do.

its a great age to start. I started martial arts when I was 14.
the key is to get off your computer, go down, register, and start today. then in 20 years you will look back and be glad you started then.

You asked this same question a couple of months ago. If it wasn't you, then it was your friend or your clone.
Fifteen isn't too old for ANYTHING.
