Yeap, I even know some wonderful Pagans and Heathens on here.
Something good about of my Pagan friends? Killer senses of humor, loyalty (which is a virtue), and they are compassionate.

I've met some wonderful pagans. I haven't yet found one that has insulted me for what I believe, or think I'm damned unlike many Christians. Pagans also love the Earth and Nature, which really needs support in this day and age.
But I'm pagan myself, so I'm a bit biased. ;-)

It's so refreshing and wonderful to hear someone say nice things about Pagans. Even though it isn't anything specific, it's still nice to see someone say nice things. I love being part of the Pagan lifestyle. It's wonderful and peaceful and I have never felt the way I do being pagan than I did with any other belief system.
To shoujomanic: A pagan is not a person who doesn't believe in god...That is an athiest. There are many pagans who believe in God as well as a Goddess. I am one of them
To Year of the Monkey: I am a practicing Witch, I am 25 years old, married, and do not wear black nail polish. Don't be so stereotypical.

I met my pagan (Wiccan) friend when we were neighbours. I ended up looking after her kids for her. It was so nice to discuss motherhood with her, as she worships the Goddess (or did). She had three home births. The first two were pretty horrific, but the third was lovely. I admire her courage so much. I admire her spirituality and her intuition. She respects my religion also. She said it "made sense". She is an inspiration to me to be a strong woman, and to value and love myself.

I have met alot of lovely Pagans here, too many to name, but I will say I admire your tenacity in trying to pull people together.
I prefer candy apple red nail polish.....:)
Shoujomanic: I'm Pagan, I believe in God, just not the Christian idea of it. If I didn't believe in God, I'd be an Athiest...

Yes. Of course I'm biased because I am one. I won't name names, but several Pagans here on Y!A have actually been my support group for quitting smoking. Okay, I'll name one - Epona Willow. They jumped right in to lend an encouraging word or an ear, and I'm grateful for that. They're great folks.

this is your category, right?
I'm one of the atheists, but if I had to pick a religion, this would be it. The best hope for the world is for us to see it as a living organism, in which all forms of life are interdependent. That's basically the scientific equivalent of the idea that's at the root of paganism.
Pagans: may help save the planet. Most other religions aren't as good at that as the pagans - too interested in the afterlife.
Big up the pagans.

Pagans have a wonderful belief in the earth, the Goddess as a trinity much as Christians do and they revere life much as Christians do. I am a Christian and I think they are mistaken but I love them for their kind ways.

I'm curious as to how you define 'pagan'. Technically, a Pagan is anyone who does not believe in God. Therefore, Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, Shintoists, Confucianists, and many other faith systems are 'pagan'.
The best experience I had with a 'pagan' was an Eastern philosophy instructor who loved sitting out in the agricultural gardens during his lectures and pretending he was Buddha. He was a great teacher and made learning very interesting.
To Maii... whatever: The term 'Pagan' was coined long before the modern 'paganism' movement reared it's counterculture head. An atheist is someone who does not believe in any faith system; a pagan is someone who does not believe in monotheistic faith systems based in Judaism. I am a pagan myself, having converted from Catholicism so I actually KNOW what I'm talking about.
