Why do I have to wait?

Why do i have to wait a whole year for laser after taking accutane??can't i have it done after 8 months??

Accutane must be stopped and completely out of your system before laser surgery is done. This is because Accutane affects sebaceous gland function and skin keratinization. If laser surgery is performed too soon you are at a high risk of having significant scarring. Please be safe and wait the recommended period of time.
