This would be the thinking of a controlled religious mind.
God has no voice of his own but there is not shortage of men that will speak, act, or commit atrocities on God's behalf. If God is real then let him speak for himself on his own volition not through the action of man.
If you can convince a man to believe in none sense then you can get him to commit atrocities.
