My co-workers often bring in sweets and treats, some homemade. I am trying to eat healthier, but do not want to seem rude or like I am passing judgement. Is there a polite way to refuse the treats?

Just politely say "no thank you". Maybe even offer up a little smile.

Simply thank them for the offer of a treat, comment on how good it looks, and then tell them that you are watching your diet, so you will need to pass. I think in this day and age, most people recognize that many people are watching their weight and trying to eat a healthier diet. I don't think that anyone will mind.

it is a shame that somewhat some individuals have been fooled by making use of the likes of a unethical, incompetent Republican like George W. Bush no longer merely as quickly as, yet two times. we've redeemed ourselves, despite if, by making use of electing an spectacular, trustworthy, functional, liberal, Democrat THIS TIME, and while human beings see how lots greater useful Democrats are than Republicans, they're going to get decrease back to balloting like "the terrific technology" did after the earlier while Republicans had administration of the three branches of our nationwide government - which bring about the great melancholy ! -

there is a couple of ways to do this -

1. say your allergic and nothing more.
2. tell the truth - they look good, but you are watching what you eat.

of course, the delivery is the key - be polite and comment that the treats look really good, but you just couldn't.

Tell them it's not ethical for me to accpet gifts from co-workers. My college professor told me that one time when I offered her some sweets.

You SHOULD be able to say no thank you, but for some people that doesn't work, they just keep pressing, or asking why not.
Just say no thank you, then go on with your work, try to be busy enough to ignore them.

Just simply say no thank you. That way you won't be perceived as rude or judgmental.

"Oh, how sweet of you to think of us this way! I'd love to indulge, but I'm watching my diet closely. Looks delicious though!"
