this is a form of domestic volience....leave now before you embark on a really not so good journy....you have the right to be in a relationship that is free from volience and fear. He has issues and he needs to sort them out. It's not fair on you if he is roughing you up

Dont see him anymore if he saw you for 3 days and hit you..imagine what it would be like after a couple months! It wont be good. Dont take this crap from anyone. And if hes a former Marine? he must be strong and he could hurt you badly, file a complaint! and just look for the right guy and know who he really is before things get serious!- no he's not Just playing thats beating and its not helping anything.. break up and LEAVE

Leave him now. Believe me it will only get worse. And DON'T even beleive him if he ever says I love you after he has hurt you. I know a lot of marines... Since i never been to there basic training i cant tell you why they are the way that they are, but its like... they try to be all hard all the time and make themselves feel dominant. get out no matter how good looking, smart or whatever he is. Once a hitter always a hitter even though he was "just playing" beleive me. I stuck around too long and now im in a sh*t hole lol... keep your head up!

Only 3 days and grabbing your neck, and name calling is a big red flag saying GET OUT NOW, and know you love yourself enough to do that for you, since you are a important enough person to gain respect from a boyfriend. Life is about loving ourselves and others, so don't settle for less! Good Luck!

Leave immediately while you still can! You know this already or you wouldn't have mentioned this. His behavior is totally unacceptable. Don;t confuse abuse with love. Love is always kind; love is always faithful; love is always tender. Please read Daily Meditations for Codependents by Melodie Beatty. It is a wonderful help for women who love the wrong men!
Good luck.
PS some out there will treat you right. You don't have to settle for an abusive jerk like this.l

Honey, he is NOT playing. And he is NOT worth it! Him being a Marine really has nothing to do with it (for the sake of US MArines.. most of them are GREAT men) But seriously, you dont need to be around that. End it asap because it DOESNT get better. Believe me, I've been there..

File a complaint with the police!! Then run don't walk but run to a family member/friend or someone that you trust & stay away from this abusive person. He is not worth your time, feelings,or anything else that you might have to give him. It will only get much worse and this is no way to "PLAY" with a woman or anybody for that matter. Please take my advice young lady HE IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!

Wow, that is not a man. And he is an embarrassment to the Marine Corps.
Do you really have so little common sense, that you actually have to ask this question on Yahoo answers?
Think for a second....

I would not stand for it. Any guy that hits a girl is a COWARD!!!!!! You seriously need to get out of this relationship because if it's happened once it will happen again. Remember the old saying... A leopard will never change it's spots....
