Im 5'6 and i weigh 130... I wear a size six and im in 9th grade and i really need a diet because Im too fat! and i need a diet plan!!!!!

okay, the other thing is is that i cant tell if it is muscle or fat, because i work out at least 4 times a week and im in competetive volleyball

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Don't become anorexic !!!

You are not as fat as you believe.
You should ask your doctor for a chart that shows your correct weight range.

Your best diet to lose the small amount you may want to lose is to eat slightly smaller servings and to exercise or find a sport you enjoy so you can increase your activity level.

If you really think you are fat (and I doubt you are) then the best diet is to stop bending your elbow so much.
If you do not bend it then you can't get a fork or spoon up to your mouth.
At 5'6" you sound perfect to me!
And yes I am a girl.
Oh, to be 130 again.

you sound very healthy to me. you're at a nice weight for someone your age and height. how about, rather than trying to loose weight, tone up your body? If you think you're fat its probably because of the small amount that just about everyone has around their belly area. It's healthy actually, but if you really want it gone, do crunches.

by the way that jack person is totally bullshi****g. he's bashing everyone and its kind of annoying actually. i sent him an angry email

You should be 130-140

k first u are not even close to being fat!!! wghat is wrong with u crazy girl!!! anyways if u want to get FIT! then eat l;ess sized portions and maybe workout a lil bit more
