Check out what the Mormons really believe. Golden encrypted plates, found in rural New York, by a 17 year old, then translated by him, all in the 1800's, is the basis of their religious faith. But no one ever saw the plates... what a miracle. Each religion spews its own fallacy. Go ahead, check out the Mormons, you'll have a laughing fit.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of a parody religion founded in 2005 by Oregon State University physics graduate Bobby Henderson to protest the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of intelligent design as an alternative to biological evolution. In an open letter sent to the education board, Henderson professes belief in a supernatural Creator called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which resembles spaghetti and meatballs. He furthermore calls for the "Pastafarian" theory of creation to be taught in science classrooms.

Not necessarily unheard of, but definitely not mainstream.
I heard something a long time ago about a Church of John F. Kennedy. The members allegedly worship him as God, but I have never found anything to substantiate it's existence. It may have been a hoax.

Try Zoroastrianism- I learned about it in my introductory religion class the other day. (I'm in college.) It used to be a popular religion, it's mostly died out at this point, but once upon a time it coexisted with Judaism and the two shared a lot in common.

well im mormon.
and let me tell you if you type it in on the internet you will get the wrong stuff!
it will say we practice paligimy.and we dont and alot of other weird things.
we are the church of jesus christ of latter day saints
and the people who do practice paligimy and stuff are called the reorganized saints of the latter days. and they call themselves mormons. thats why we are mistaken for wierd people!
if you want to go to the real mormon site go to www.lds.org and you will pretty much find a bunch of stuff about us (thats true!)
