Three months is short time for relationship to develop in exclusive.
You don't have to dump him. Just tell him that you don't believe on long-distance relationships and if you or him will find someone else by the time he's gone, it just wasn't ment to be between you and him.
Don't burn all the bridges before he (or you) actually did something wrong.
There is a chance, but 6 months is a long time and you've been together only 3.

I would not dump my boyfriend since he was going on a long business trip. You can still communicate. It sounds like you are insecure about your relationship as you are jealous about the girl he will be with. What about trust? If you don't trust your boyfriend, you don't have a relationship and maybe you should end it. Your relationship is still new, it sounds. Talk to him. What does he want to do. Are you having problems at all? Do you like being around him? Would you miss him? Do you think you would stray and cheat on him? If you would, you should end it.
Don't end it because of the time he will be gone and because he will be around someone cute. He chose you to begin with. Trust him for who he is. Do not dump him for the wrong reasons. Absence can make the heart grow fonder. Re-Evaluate your reasons and do not do it for the wrong reasons.

Dump him. Long distance relationships are hard. If you are already having doubts (and concerns about his cute co-worker) then you more than likely don't have a strong enough relationship for it to work. It will be less heartache in the long run if you both just do your own thing. But remain friends, and who knows, when he comes back, you may be able to work it out!
