i downloaded a program off the internet, usually it will be in RAR format but instead of the .rar extention is has numbers? any help on which program extracts those files?

You need this program:http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/
make sure all are in same folder, click join button and then select the .001 file.

Winrar would. The extentions mean its spanned to multible files. You only want to try to open the .001 file, and it should read all the rest it needs.

yeah, make sure you don't delete any of them. just open up ONE rar files (any one). then just extract like usual. sometimes people just divide up the file into parts and then zip them. i have no idea why!
