The vet will not tell you to put her down without suggesting some form of treatment. Take your dog to the vet....it obviously needs medical attention!!!!

I would take her to the vet. That's kinda selfish for you not wanting to take her to the vet, what if something serious is wrong and you are just going to sit back and keep her from being seen. Maybe the vet could suggest some sort of treatment or medication or something to help her. You don't know the vet is going to say have her put down without knowing what's wrong..and besides they can't force you to do that without your saying so. We all have to face that fact some day that our beloved dogs will get older and will have to face either naturally dieing or having to be put down do to some illness that catches up with them. I have two older dogs myself but, if they did something like your dog I would take them in no matter what cause I love them and if it's the day i have to say good bye to them because of something being wrong then so be it, because I know i did everything I could to help them, other than letting them stay at home and not doing anything about it. So please do the right thing and have her seen by a vet, who knows she may be just fine but you have to give her the medical attention she needs.
Oh and if she threw up blood to, and would get worse even die then what or how would that make you feel. Because you didn't' take her to a vet to be seen and then she could have maybe been saved.

Listen: you should never be afraid of going to the vet because you think they're just going to put your animal to sleep. You're the owner, they can't make you do this.
A vet will never just say 'euthanasia' (at least not a halfway decent one). They first need to determine what is wrong with the animal by taking blood samples and/or xrays or scans. They will then tell you what the options are, and the choice is then up to you.
You do need to take your dog to the vet. It could just be a worm infection - some types are coughed up. At least find out what is wrong with her, coughing up blood definitely needs a trip to the vet!
Never delay taking your animal to a vet because you're worried about what they may say - this will only make a situation worse. She's your dog, you're responsible for her, not anyone else. Good luck.

Boxers aren't one of the shortest living breeds - most giant breeds don't make it past 8!

MY GOD!!!! I HAVE A BOXER!!!!
Boxer's are among the shortest living dog breeds out there. They live to 12 to 15 maximum. He just might be getting old.
But for god's sake... TAKE THAT DOG TO THE VET!!!!!
He's like your kid. If your kid was throwing up blood, you take them for help!!!
HURRY!!!! It's better to go to the vet and find out what's wrong with him than to wait, watch the results then feel sorry in the long run.

Take it to the vet. Veteranarians are not murderers and will try as hard as they can to find a treatment. If yoiu dog nees to be put down, then it will probably make your dog be more comfortable anyway. Don't be selfish!

Take her too the vet, maybe it is not as serious as you think but if it is, do you want her to suffer just because you ask scared,
think about her and her needs first, not your own

Please take her to the vet. You have to get her some medical attention. It could a very simple reason for the blood. Dont panic until there is somthing to panic about.

So you want us to tell you that you need to put her down??
It would be best to talk to the vet and find out what is truly wrong with her.. We can only speculate, he can check her out and tell you what the problem might be.
