Christians and Wiccans?

Question

Okay this is 2 in one but here we go:

Christians:
Can you please give me some reason why God is so quiet lately? Why does everyone contradict eachother when it comes to the Bible?

Wiccans:
What exactly is your religion (no need to sum it up.. I have time to read all of this) what do you believe, what's true and false of what others say it is?

Christian answer:

As for why God is so quiet lately, I can only hypothesize that it is because He is checking our faith. Are we going to remain faithful to Him and our belief in Him - even if the "world" is so loud. He's distinguishing His people. (but that's hypothesis only, of course)
I think everyone contradicts concerning the bible because we're people. Even at the time of Jesus and after His resurrection there was conflict concerning His Ways and Message.

Wiccan Answer:

There are different types of Wiccan as there are different types of Christianity. Some are in a group called covens wihile others are solitary practitioners or in family groups. We are a nature based religion. Some cast spells for everything while others only cast spells for good things like protection of a home, some don't cast at all, just pray to their deity of choice. Some have rituals such as full-moon and sabbath rituals, some don't practice rituals. Some have many gods and goddesses while some have two (lord and lady, god and goddess) and while some believe in the one god/goddess fused together as one. We teach tolerance, and respect. We have two basic rules/laws. Three fold law: everything you put out, comes back three fold. So if your good, positive energy comes back, your bad, negative energy comes back. And Wiccan rede: An ye harm none, do what ye will, which means if your actions don't harm anyone, do what you want. We believe in balance of all things, and that the world has both pos. and neg. energies. Some call theirselves witches who practice witchcraft while people like myself call myself Wiccan (I hate the word Witch) and I spread pos. energy for good purposes. So some are Wiccans who are Witches and some are just Wiccans. Example: Just as there are Christians who are Baptist and Christians who are just Christians. Some believe in an after life and others believe in reincarnation. Like how different Christian religions believe in different after lives. Some families raise their children in Wiccan traditions like the (ostara) spring bunny, the yule tree, and the may pole activities while keeping the kiddos out of the adult rituals until they are teens while some parents don't involve their kids in any of it until they are teens. They just cellebrate the generic holidays, so to speek.

What Wicca is not devil worshiping. We do not have an evil deity or reconize the Chistian diety devil as real. We do not harm people or place hexes on people. We don't sacrifice babies and animals, and we don't abuse our children in rituals. Most of us are NOT Goth or drug addicts. We dress like everyone else and we believe in purity of the body and soul. We are not all metal heads, a lot of us like a varity of music. We don't recrute people into our religion and we feel as parents that our children should not have religion until they are mature enough to decide it. So we don't force our religion on anyone period, just educate people on our religion. We are not the Bible's witch, the Halloween witch, or the TV Witch. We are in general good people and we don't want to harm anyone. We generally just want the hate and judgement to stop.

I believe God is keeping quiet cause he's getting ready to come back. Since he is getting ready to come back and all of the world is doing exactly what the prophets said they would do then he doesn't need to do anything but come back like he said he would. Christains keep the faith he is coming back.

there are many forms of Wiccans. some of us believe in one god some of us believe in many gods and goddess. some of us practices witchcraft some of us don't. i happen to believe that all Gods/Goddess are one God/Goddess and i do not practice witchcraft. i do however follow the phases of the moon. and i do hold rituals which are just physical forms of prayer. you message me if you have any more questions . i was raised Christian but am now a Wiccan.
