I thought I had slept wrong, but the pain has been going on more than 10 days. I can only sleep on my right side without to much pain. Much pain when looking down, or moving neck just right.

You could have a pinched nerve and should have it checked out. I see my chiropractor when that happens, and other things. You might want want to see one to check it out, and/or see your regular doctor for a check up to make sure it is nothing else.

I will say a prayer for you.

Hi :) I think you should go and see your doctor or GP to see if your o.k . Also it could be the way your sleeping . Try sleeping with two pillows at the head . Try sleeping on your back or on your sides . You could also get an extra blanket to put over your body . Also another way to get to sleep is buy putting lavender on your pillow . Also having a hot chocolate or herbal tea and a bath before you go to sleep might help . I suggest using Radox Muscle soak and try and do some stretches before you go to bed and when you wake up , press ups , stomach crunches etc. Hope this helps :)

Sounds to me like you have a crook in your neck and it has progressed south. A hot bath in Epsom Salt, a possible neck popping should do the trick. If you are sleeping on a flat pillow, that would do it as well. Remember pillows shold also support the neck AND head.

You strained a muscle in your neck. Thats where the pain is coming from. Go get some X-ray and start physical therapy. It does not sound to serious. I know the pain your feeling very well.
