In his "manifesto" Cho compared himself to Jesus Christ. Honestly, I see no similarities at all. Does anyone know how these two characters were seimilar in any way?

Steve b, how is that not a comparison? Do you think he meant that he was going to literally be hung on a wooden cross? I (and many others) drew the same conclusion that Cho felt that he was a martyr, was misunderstood, and would be killed despite supposed innocence.

Cho felt like he had been sacrificed by his peers. That is why he compared himself to Jesus Christ. Supposedly, many people had bullied him in the past. I think he was more like the prophet Muhammed of Islam. Muhammed slaughtered many of his enemies. He was not a peaceful person. He was the prophet of doom.

He beared the sins of the world. However, Cho didn't need to, because Jesus had already done it for him.

Why take Cho seriously? He was tormented by cruel kids in the school system. If we keep denying there is a problem and dismiss these murderers as simple crazies, we lie to ourselves. The problem is deep in our society. Cho was mocked by his classmates and told to "Go back to China".

Cho Seung-Hui felt persecuted, and because he hoped that he, like Jesus, would "inspire generations of the weak and the defenseless people."

Cho was mentally ill...his "manifesto" was just rantings of a mad man.
No comparison what so ever.
