i know for a fact that even a cheat tax collector, Jesus forgave. a thief, a prostitute... no one deserves salvation but He offers forgiveness of sins regardless of what we do.

Ha-ha-ha-ha, excuse me a minute, OK, I'm back, ha-ha-ha-ha.
And true as like absolutely? Or the left wing version, "true as long as you can't prove otherwise." Clintonese true? True like Ted Kennedy? John Kerry? By the by, Christians do not have to go to church every Sunday.
Btw, If one is an atheist but states there maybe a God at least once, is that disqualification to continue being an atheist. Or do atheists get unlimited tries at it?

The born againers say that the Roman Catholics are not 'true' and that anyone who is not 'born again' in their method of it are not. So that is a lot of folks right there. And some RC's say that those not of the RC church are not. And some of us say that if you are not baptized you are not. So... only an old Orthodox nun of about 97 named Sister Mary Elizabeth is about the only true Christian left!!

Christians mess up, they are still sinners. Being a "true" Christian does not mean you dont make mistakes or sin, it means that you are already forgiven for the sins you have done and will do, and are trying to grow more and more Christ like (sinless) every day.

"For all have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God."
The only standard of what makes a true "Christian" is whether a person "believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth".
It doesn't mean they'll be perfect.

You make a good point.
I'm guilty of saying "true Christians", while claiming myself to be a Christian.
Best to let God sort us out.

Well, let's see....
People who get married (Paul wasn't big on that)
People who don't populate the earth with more Christians (Catholic doctrine or tradition)
People who get divorced (lots of different sects)
People who bear children out of wedlock (lots of different sects)
People who hate gays
People who don't hate gays
People who don't go to church
People who go to church instead of being 'spiritual'
Yup, everybody's going to hell.

Not honoring your parents is out as well, and that should rule everyone out that is past their teenage years.

Any Christian who makes judgements of others isn't a true Christian. "Judge not lest ye be judged".
