If it is not attached to anything (moves around) it probably isn't anything serious. Is the lump right where she had the shot? Two weeks is quite a while for it to still be there, but I suppose it might be possible.
If it seems fatty, it could well just be a lipoma (benign fatty lump). These can be removed, as they can become pretty huge and hinder the animal and besides, they're just unpleasant.
Do take the dog to the vet though, a lump should always be investigated as it could be many things. The vet can give you a better idea than any one on here of what it is - they can stick a little needle in to get some cells from it and look at them under a microscope (a fine needle aspirate). They then can advise you if it needs to be removed at all.
Still, could just be an insect bite! Give it a few days, if it's still the same size or bigger, get it checked out.

Is this sqwuishy lump in the same spot that the rabies vaccination was given? Give it a few days, if it's from the rabies shot, it'll go down.. If you aren't seeing any other signs that would suggest a reaction to the shot?
Sometimes when the vet isn't careful, a hair will get shoved back in the dog when he is getting a vaccination and cause an ingrown hair.. Do you look at it real well to see if there is a mark there at all?!

Where is the lump? Rabies vaccine is usually given right hind rump/leg area. You should have the lump checked by your vet. It may be a number of different things. (not all are cancer) He/she should take a sample from the mass with a needle.Your vet can then look at some cells of the mass under a microscope and give you a fair idea of what it may be and if you can just monitor it or it would be best to remove/biopsy it to be safe. Hope this helps!

depending on where the lump is. I know sometimes they get bruises like humans, and those can swell into a little bump, or it could be a bug bite which has swollen and maybe infected. Also if they had the shot where the bump is, they could be either having a reaction to it, or it could be infected. I would call your vet, I'm sure they will be able to help you out with something this slight for free and over the phone, especially if it's in the location of the rabies shot.

They can have a lump under the skin for weeks after a shot. My vet said that if it is soft and loose from the tissue--i.e. you can move it around a little--that it should be fine. It's just a reaction to a shot. If, it doesn't go away in another few weeks or changes in shape, take the dog to the vet. It never hurts to call your vet, though. Most vets can help you decide over the phone if an appointment is necessary.

Well there is one,it doesnt nessecary have to be cancer.I hate to say this but,it can be a blood clot.A rabies shot lump doesnt stay long after that. You should take her to the vet just to be sure it's nothing serious.

My dog had one on her neck when she was just shy of a year old and my vet it's quite normal for them to get cysts. It sounds really similar to the one my baby had, and the only options were to cut it out or just let it go away on their own. Her's went away in about a month. I would take her to the vet and have them check it out to make a more positive assumption but I would say you probably don't have to worry. Here is a link if you want to read more about the doggie cysts.

I found one like that one my beloved canine friend several years ago (he's 10 now) and FREAKED! Straight to the vet we went only to have it candidly dismissed as a fatty tumor I think was the term she used. Every time he goes I have it checked. It has grown over the years but my favorite vet said to me "I can remove it if it bothers you, its not bothering him though". Its on his rib cage low on his chest. Visible at profile. But it doesn't bother him. Sometimes it bothers me. The big test is if it floats between the skin and the muscle.

My pup had the same thing, i took her in and it turned out to be nothing.
If the lump continues to grow or if it is the size of quarter then you should take the pup to the vet.
