massively broad answers as expected! "god answers when you least expect" in other words, when 1 out 100 prayers are answere that must be god. That event wouldn't have happened anyway-what absolute claptrap!

Because there are no gods to respond, of course. Anyway...
Pray: To ask the laws of the universe to be annulled on behalf of a single petitioner confessedly unworthy. -- Ambrose Bierce

How much proof do you need? God healed the sharp all the time, every day pain in my knees that was the result of 4 knee surgeries. How about Alomolongo, Guatemala? It was changed by the power of prayer...It used to have so many drunks that they had to bus people to other cities to put them in jail...today all the jails are closed because it has become a praying community. Calli, Columbia used to be a drug capitol but changed because of the power of prayer. I have two friends who through the power of prayer are no longer using drugs and are serving the Lord. Is that enough or do you need some more examples?

God answers prayers one of three ways. Yes, no and wait.
Probably the most common is the third one.
I have had answered prayers for everything from healing my bone spurs on my feet, to healing my latex allergy all the way to little things like the other day the Lord granted my favor on a traffic ticket and the police officer offered me a plea where no ticket or at fault will be found on my drivers licencse, which is exactly what I prayed for.
I have seen friends healed from brain damage suffered while they were without oxygen for over 5 minutes, and even healed from a strawberry allergy.
If you are in need of prayers the community of Christians here would be glad to pray for you. Just post it. We can have faith for you if yours is lacking.
Lastly i will point out that when God says "no" it is often because the yes would be bad for us in the long run. Because He can see the long run.
For instance, a certain college student that I heard of could be frustrated and blame God becuase she was sick monday and had to miss class. But it turns out her classmates who went to her French class monday were almost all killed by a crazed gunman.

A slanted erroneous view point. Wrong!
We have had many prayers answered in the affirmative. Just today as a matter of fact I personally had one answered......
Just because you don't have enough bible training to get your needs satisfied, doesn't mean God doesn't answer. And he often says no.
What may be good for you in your eyes, may effect the life of others adversely. What do you think he would say to that?
I and many others can give pages of examples of wonderful answers that made people happy.

Many people have no real love for God and little time for living His commandments and expect God to be their slave and pull a Rabbit out of the hat for them whenever things go bad, well it doesn`t work like this at all, I and millions like me have had our prayers answered in some way or other,so ask yourself what is it that you are doing or not doing.

God always answers your prayers, it may not always be the way we want it but he always answers for the good.
A little something from the Catechism about prayer:
2611 The prayer of faith consists not only in saying "Lord, Lord," but in disposing the heart to do the will of the Father. Jesus calls his disciples to bring into their prayer this concern for cooperating with the divine plan.

God answers your prayers when you least expect it. I know how you feel, I have felt that way several times. Please do not be discouraged, things may not happen when you want because it may not be best for you at that time or best for you at all. Just because you want something to change and pray over it doesnt mean it's going to happen right away. God has his own way of doing and putting in our lives. Please don't lose faith, be strong and keep praying. God bless you...

God has answered my prayer's. I have CML and I take very expensive chemo pills. I prayed to God about it and left it in His hands. God provided for me. The insurance co. accepted my Dr.'s request for the medicine and I pay little out of pocket cost. PTL!

Here's an insight: Oscar Wilde said that more tears are shed over answered prayers than unanswered ones.

He granted treasures and promises for the prayers of Noah, Abraham, Jacob... The prayers of our fathers were answered in Christ. Christ had a prayer also and His prayer is about to be answered.
