I have been asking my doctor for help for over a year now, giving detailed explaination of how i feel and what i go through daily with nothing but a sick line to show for it. What should i do and how can i get help before i hurt myself or worse someone else.

You definitely need to see another doctor. Clearly the one you have been seeing is just not getting the picture, so find another one. They will be able to walk you through everything else, in my experience here were some things recommended: get adequate sleep, 8-10 hours; eat right to keep all systems healthy; consider seeing a counselor to talk about any issues bothering you; do what you can to reduce stress in your life. Think about what is really bothering you or pushes you to your most extreme moments and thoughts, and see what you can change. And finally, perhaps most important, you will probably be put on some kind of medication. You likely have an actual chemical imbalance in your brain that makes you feel the ways you do, one that only medication can balance out. Good luck. Mail me if you want, I've been where you are.

time to get a second opinion, it never hurts and u may even get the help u need. i'm no doc, but it sounds like u have a good case of depression or even a bi-polar disorder. in some cases the brains chemicals get out of wack. if that's the case w/u, u may b given some meds to help balance things out. what ever is wrong, it's nothing to b ashamed of. never give up on getting help. good luck.

I would start by definitely changing doctors. Go to a church or if your not religious, find a counselor at a local health center and just talk to them. I would look in to maybe some kind of medication for depression.

Good Luck to you, I promise it's not always as bad as it seems
