The Bible describes God as love itself. As a matter of fact, a lot of people like to replace the word, "love" in I Corinthians 13 with "God." It then describes many of God's characteristics.
But to me, its not so much about a turbulent world. I've had ups and downs as anybody, but no tragedy in my life. I love my God when I feel sad or when I feel happy - I don't need to cling to a deity because I feel this world is out of control.
I feel that there's nothing like grace. Grace is something thats extremely rare in this world. But grace is the entire story of the Bible. Grace is what draws me near to Him.

I think God loves us all. I'm pretty sure God gets upset with some of as times. I'm sure God gets angry with me, I'm sure God doesn't approve of alot of the things I do. I think I'm still loved though. Does it help me feel better in "this turbulent" world. No, it doesn't. Cuz even though I love God, I get angry with God too.

Yeah, He loves me ... so much so He sent His son to live within the tight confines of humanity and die, just to show me that He's there. That's pretty unconditional, ain't it?
Is it a "major advantage"? I suppose so, if I actually were legalistic enough to sit and count the advantages and disadvantages of loving God.

Yes. Unconditionally. This is why God does not want us to take revenge and to be harsh in our treatment of others, even the bad people. God is a god of mercy.

If you must believe in god and ask forgiveness of your 'sins' before you receive the benefits of god's love, meaning entrance into Heaven, then that places a condition upon the love of that god.
God is not Love; God is threats.
It comes down to "Love me or BURN"
Anyone who gives you an ultimatum isn't Loving you.

depending upon your assumption, Yeah, i hit upon this fairly fallacious in god analogy. Logically speaking, on condition that God is suitable and we are no longer, would not that's prudent human beings to ascertain what He has to assert about all of this? for instance; in case you've been going to have open heart surgical operation ought to you want some untrained 'logical' logician to finish the operation? possibly a guy from the cafeteria? you possibly would not stay to attend to to regulate your recommendations. hence, the Bible (it being His revelation to us) is our most suitable source for recognize-how God and His objective for us (logically speaking for sure). in case you bypass decrease back and skim the Scriptures you'll now no longer could attempt antagonistic to with any assumptions or imaginary conclusions as to why you're the following. also discover that there is not any torturous hell to burn in for see you later as God lives and that there have been angels in heaven formerly there the position men on the earth. and also you need to come to understand what love is and that perfection would not inevitably equate to being loveless.

Oh, yes... I felt G-d's unconditional love before I had a concious relationship with Him. I still feel His love, but it took time for me to really TRUST in it. So I'm here to tell you, that He truly IS there, He truly Does love you and His love is truly pure, faithful and unconditional.
-But blessed are those that have NOT seen, and yet have believed.
