Well lets see...hummmm....if you got shot, it is a good assumption that she knows you were doing something that she finds not very OK. She was upset about that AND that you were shot.
I agree that a greeting would be nice before being scolded, but it could have been worse. She could have not visited you at all, or dropped your butt like a hot potato.
So if I were you, I'd cut her some slack on this one.

I have been with my bf for three and a half years and there is NO WAY I would be like she was. I would be so worried if he was ok I would be so sweet to him and just make sure he was going to be ok. If you put yourself in a dangerous situation and that is why you got shot then she should have waited until you were feeling better and brought it up as a serious conversation- not yelling like its a fight or something. Sorry she was like that! I hope you're doing well.

awww...boo boo. First of all why are you shot. Second is this something she warned you about already and third of all....why are you shot? Of course she was rude for barging in without consideration of your pain and scolding you for being a bad boy. But...for whatever reason thats your girlfriend and she knows you better than I do. You probaly needed to get cussed out. Thankfully your alive u can hear her b*****. Otherwise she would have been yelling at your dead body. Us women are built off of emotion. She probaly loves you and was angry that you would put yourself in a situation which lead to your hospitilization. Also causing her grief and worry. Com' on....I'dda lost my mind in the hospital. The moral of all that was...to avoid your girlfriend from raging on you avoid uncomfortable situations...she had every right to put u in check...cause next time may not come

It depends. Maybe she was so distraught about you getting shot that she got so upset she yelled at you. It's kind of like in the movies when the love-interest of the hero thinks he got killed and then he shows up alive, she's always crying and angry at the same time and hits him out of frustration from the fear that something bad had happened.
Take advantage of it. You should get some good "she-almost-lost-you" s@x out of the deal.

You probably gave her the scare of her life. She might have possibly been really worried and some people can't show their mushy side easily so their concern is manifested with anger so that you won't see their vulnerable side. Or she might be smarter than you and knows you could have avoided the situation so she feels frustrated that you didn't know any better. The true mark of love sometimes is our willingness to argue with them because if you are unconcerned it's easy just to smile and agree even if we know they're wrong.

What happened that you got shot?
If it was you doing something stupid you deserve to be yelled at.
If it was you were robbed and got shot then she was being a witch.

If you don't live your life any better than you write, she yelled at you because you're stupid.
Yes, I would yell at my husband if he got shot for being stupid.

She thought SHE was the center of attention when it should've been you. She may have a right to be upset with you (depending on circumstances) but that can be talked about later. She should've come in and offered you love and support.
