i'm not planning on having sex any time soon, i'm only 14. but, it seems like it is going to be so embarrassing when i do because i wouldnt know what to do or say!! is this normal or am i just paranoid? what is "it" like?

You feel emberassed about it because you are 14. Sex is going to seem that way to you until you mature....a lot. Stop worrying about having sex...and do things that 14 year old girls do...like calling boys and then giggle and hang up when they answer...

At 14 I felt exactly as you do. Things change as you get older. I was not ready to have sex until I was 21. Some people feel comfortable at a younger age. It is all on an individual basis. When the time is right, believe me, you won't feel embarrassed at all. On a final note, when you are ready, be safe about it. Use condoms. In the meantime, enjoy your teen years. They go by so very quickly.

Yes, the first time can be embarrassing, not only for you, but also for your partner (especially if it is their first time, as well). Don't worry, it is normal. You are in no way paranoid.
The "first time" is different for different people. Hopefully it is with someone you are in love with, not in lust with. (There is a difference).
Do me one favor, though: don't engage in sex until you are absolutely sure it is what you want. Sex changes relationships faster than anything else and for that reason, hold onto your viginity as long as possible. You may feel like the oddball in the group, but if I had it to do all over again, I would have waited longer.

It's normal, and remember, every human being on this planet, has been where you are now. That's Six Billion People, and that feeling goes back to Adam and Eve. Although, it seems, they didn't have that problem, lol. Hence the Six Billion people we have now.
As you get older and have a few dates, it will be easier, and you will do what you feel comfortable doing.
Just remember, you have plenty of time, so don't rush it, your time will come, and after the first time, you won't be so embarrassed.

It's the loveliest thing in the world with someone you love who loves you back. When you are in love, you know what to do and what to say. You don't have to worry about that. You only have to be yourself, because that's the person he fell in love with.
Wait until you are older and in love and it will be everything you've imagined it to be. And it will have been worth the wait.
But you are right that you're too young at 14. An intimate relationship comes with complications too and it's better to leave it until after you have reached adulthood and have a little more experience with life. I waited until I was an adult and I never regretted it.

It is always embarrassing and awkward at first. I was a virgin until I was 21 and my girlfriend at the time was like 18 and had more experience than me. The key is to take it slow and have respect for each other. Communication is critical. Don't be in a hurry to have sex anytime soon. Make sure that when you do it is with a guy who cares deeply about you and not someone looking to get his jollies for one night. Good luck to you in your life moving forward!

Don't be one of the TOO MANY, pre-teen moms on welfare and government aid. We have too many of those and imigrants sucking the hard working americans dry.
You have so much life ahead of you to even be thinking about this. I know the youth of today is nothing like the youth of 10 years ago and more less like the youth of 20 years ago and it's scary.
Do good in school, make your family proud and make a future for youself and any children you may have in the far off future.

I'm 14 too but sometimes I do think about what it would feel like and all that but it kinda is gross in my mind because i'm sitting there thinking about sex and i'm like I'm only 14 i have like 6 years to go! lol
