I don't think it would be. Prayers of praise, thanksgiving, intercession, and contrition are just as spiritually nourishing as prayers of supplication.

I pray in the good times and the bad times.
In the good times I pray prayers of appreciation and of grattitude. I recognize the beauty of creation and thank Him for that.
I pray more heart felt prayers in the bad times. I need God more in the bad times. I plead earnestly for God to answer and weep for the people I'm praying for.
No. No one prays the same in both good and bad times. We need both...and God sends both to help us grow.

I'd like to say I pray the same all the time, but I really do need difficulties to keep my prayers at that deeper level.
I figure I'm like most people in that regard. Lots of us have to get knocked flat on our backs to get our eyes looking up.
Thanks

God is always with me and prayer is always a privilege. It is always different and there can be times of pleading or intercession or just sheer joy in knowing Him.

My life is good right now. Prayer shouldn't be about me, me, me!!!! And prayer isn't about asking....it's simply talking. It's a relationship.
