I remember very little from my long-ago electronics classes, but i think this is probably something very easy. I have four 12v devices that i am putting into a single enclosure and would like to run them all off one power supply. the total amp draw is under 4.5 amps, and i have a 5 amp rated ac adaptor, so that shouldn't really be a problem. My question is this: parallel or series? i'm thinking that it needs to be parallel but would like some confirmation from people who know more than i do.

Yes, you place them in parallel on a 12V supply. If you placed them in series, you'd need a 48V power supply.

Are you the one with the 4 fans I've seen elsewhere?

U would connect it in parallel as long as u are doing that u might want to go a little bigger than 5 amps. Start up could draw 1.5 their average power.
