This is hilarious....
My son was 10 months at the time and he loves the Target commercial, he even likes to go shopping with my husband and I at Target.
Anway, one night when we got back from Target and we were putting the groceries away, he instantly started crying and running. I didn't understand why and as I came closer to him with the target bags he flipped out. My husband noticed it was the bags and started laughing and when I hid the bags behind my back he stopped crying.
I wanted to laugh but I didnt bc I didn't want to hurt his feelings even more. Now he's one and still afraid of target bags and he likes to touch my tv and when he do, his dad takes out the Target bag and puts them on the TV and he will stay far back.
LMAO

I don't know if it's silly......but my youngest is so very afraid of elevators! If we walk past one, she cries. If I pushed the bottom for the elevator, she screams. If we get into an elevator she panics, screams and cries until the very second we step off. Once off, not one peep. I really thought she had an panic/anxiety disorder, but the Dr. said young children do not general display panic/anxiety disorders early in life.
She is also afraid of standing water. I can not give her a bath, showers only. She does not like the kiddie pool or grandmas Koi fish pond either.

When my oldest granddaughter was two, she was scared to death of the bathtub drain. She thought she'd go down the drain with the water. We had to be sure the drain was covered so she couldn't see it in order for her to bathe. Then we made sure she was out of the bathroom when we let the water out of the tub.
For some odd reason, taking a shower didn't bother her at all. I guess since there's no "whirlpool" to be seen while showering the didn't get the notion that the water was going down the drain like she did when taking a bath.

My niece was afraid that I wouldn't love her anymore after my wedding (which she was a flower girl at). She was 5 at the time. Oh and she's also afraid of anyone that is dressed up (this includes Santa and the Easter bunny).

My daughter was afraid of the vacuum cleaner when she was little, and my son was afraid of costumed characters and characters in face paint, and still is to some extent. He's 11 now.

well my grand daughter is 3 1/2 now but last easter when she was 2 1/2 she "pretended" to be scared of something, my husband was in the bathroom and she is always on his heels... she had been knocking on the door wanting in, so finally she devised a plan, she went to the candy dish and got a black jelly bean and put it on the floor outside the bathroom door then started hollering "papa papa help me its a bug!!!" Shes terrified of bugs!

My oldest daughter is afraid of flies. She is almost 6 and will scream and run away if one comes near her. She won't go into her room if there is one in there.

When my son was younger he watched the Addam's Family movie and was afraid of hands after that. He grew out of it though.
I've heard that my husband was afraid of grass when he was little.
