Yes it will grow back. If you don't want the hair there, try laser hair removal. It's not cheap, but it's permanent. Get that done before you get inked or it will mess up your tattoo. If you decide to just remove the hair as it grows in, wax. Shaving will remove some skin, and therefore you will eventually shave the tattoo off your chest. The former piercer at the one tattoo shop I go to had her armpits tattooed, and had to keep getting them touched up because of the shaving.

Yep the hair will always grow back tattoo or not. The only way I have seen hair not grow back in a spot is if there is a major scar of some sort and a tattoo wouldn't be considered that.

Yes it will, getting a tattoo will not stop the hair from growing back. If you get a tattoo on the chest and want the tattoo to be clear from hairs, when it's healed go and get waxed every 4-5weeks or use a trimmer.

I have Phil Ochs tattooed on my arm (people singer) I even have "Never Die" and a rose tattooed throughout my feet, with a tigerbat above the feet on my left foot for Tiger Army. I see me getting a pair extra musician tattoos. I have an Ochs lyric tattoed around the again of my neck (Sacred are the scars) and an Op Ivy lyric around the insides of each hands (It's lovely I might say... I should not have it another method.) I'm considering a scorching-rod tradition tat, skulls and roses and a banner, gotta decide on the lyric to head within the banner despite the fact that. As it stands at present, I'd usually opt for "In loss of life as in existence, I will come up" or "My judgment of right and wrong includes the load of blood."

Yes, the hair will grow over the tattoo and will hide it a little bit depending on how hairy you are. A tattoo just changes the color of the skin, it doesn't affect hair growth.

Definitely. I'm a mildly fuzzy guy, but have very light colored hair so it isn't obvious. After my tats, the hair has grown back and looks just like it did before.

I have heard that shaving an area makes for thicker hair. I don't know the veracity of this. Unless you're shaving your chest often, I doubt it will be an issue if this is true.

yes, all hair will grow back after getting tattooed. i speak from experience (not my own, but my husband's) he has a tattoo on his chest as well as his calf and the hair grew back on both. if you want to show off your tattoos properly you just have to shave them.

Yes the hair will grow back and it just might grow in thicker because they have to shave it off. Good Luck
