Some research has shown exercise to be at least as effective as psychotherapy, medication or any combination thereof. So I have to agree with the above in terms of exercise. If you can wear yourself out physically, the internal and chemical aspects of this depression may be relieved to some extent.
On the other hand, your depression appears to be mainly psychological in nature. Whereas biological depression is very highly correlative to genetics and neurochemistry, psychological depression has to do with life circumstances. For people in situations like yours, depression is a fairly natural and expectable outcome, and therefore those circumstances might have to improve before they can expect relief.
The result is that you're really gonna have to fight to improve your situation. Depression is absolutely a disease, but it can be defeated with effort as well. Do everything you can to keep your days full of the types of activities that will slowly improve your financial situation and social environment.
Don't allow yourself to give up and lay in bed and feel more hopeless. This will make the situation worse, which then sends you deeper into hopelessness and less able to keep working at it. That's a horrible cycle. Your persistent, active fight to get out of this crummy situation will help pull you through.

One of my best friend suffered from depression due to relation in personal life and financial crisis. I have made some study and give you some tips for it.
1. Depression is nothing wrong in itself. Life is giving you break to think about yourself and its a phase of life most people have it. So never consider yourself different from other.
2. Listen to the music or give some time to your hobbies.
3. Wear good clothes, do some exercise, have some good food.
4. Talk with people.
5. Remember your childhood and good occasion of your life. Go through the photographs and days you like most.
6. Set some goals in the life. Start taking responsibility and never ever regret for any of your mistake.
7. Remember this is just temporary phase of your life and you will become more strong after this.

Not on your own. That's the classic example of trying to pull yourself up by your own shoe laces. You would benefit from seeing a family therapist who can help you deal with all the issues burdening you right now. You may or may not also benefit from an anti-depressant.
Even if you let your friends try to help, they likely would have all the wrong "answers." Your best best is with an experienced professional.
Call your local hospital or social services in your community and explain your situation. They generally have some sort of low-cost help available. And if it costs money, don't say you can't afford it. What you're describing is a pathway to much more serious problems if you don't get help now. Get help for yourself, for the benefit of your two precious babies. If you don't take care of yourself, you won't be able to take care of them.

Two important herbs to take are rhodiola rosera and relora. Both are great for relieving stress and the relora will help you sleep better. If you're anywhere north of Atlanta, you will be lacking sunlight. Make sure you get at least fifteen minutes of walking in every day unless it the weather is really bad. If it is, put on a strong light (a plant light should do nicely, or a LightBook, if I've recalled the correct name for it) and do something relaxing. Avoid consuming food and drink with a high chemical content unless they are scientific names for vitamins. They are often labelled, but if not, here are a few examples: Ascorbic acid (vitamin C), tocopherol (vitamin E), methylcobalamin/cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). That's all I can remember for now. And don't listen to those commercials - high fructose corn syrup is BAD for you.

You will only benefit from it if you take it seriously.
