can i use her card?
she has no idea.
through looking at other questions i gathered it would either be considered as fraud, or if i signed my own name it's completely fine. i guess i could just wait for my mom to have a free schedule, but i'd really rather not wait that long for glasses.

I agree with Nitengale

Have your mom call the credit card company and place you on the account as an authorized user. She can remove you at any time she wishes.
That way you will be able to use that card with no problems.

Its really up to the store to decide if they trust the transaction or not - The problem is that if they do allow you to sign for the purchase they risk your Mom disuting the charge.....
You can call the store and ask them if they will allow it --- And if they dont ask them if perhaps your Mom can just call in her cc info or include a written note.

Chnaces are the store will say its okay but it's really their call.

Get a note from your mother informing them it is ok for you to use the card along, you should be ok. You might ask your mom to call and have your name put on the card for this occassion so that you feel safe.

Hmm... I don't think you can use her credit card. Ask her to either write you a blank check or withdraw the money from her bank account.
