I'm 24 , still learning, wish I wasn't so shy. I believe we should all date as many as possible, understanding the human condition.
Basically , when you are exclusive . You learn this person but cannot compare properly. You can't choose properly if you've only had hamburger and never Steak Diane.
There is more to some of us than others. Some of us have greater needs and want to love like in the movies.
I know, you'll say , "that's in the movies". But if two people believe this way, why can't they love this way.
Is it a crap shoot ? Does society prevent you from exploring?
What is the answer?

You can explore all you want. the only thing you need to do is find the woman who want the same, and believe me there are. but I think you can't expect to not invest emotionally at all. if you want to explore freely, be honest about that so no false expectations arise. and if they do, be clear very fast. that is the only way to have an honest exp[loration to say it mildly... :)

Um, what exactly is the question? Society doesn't prevent people from exploring the lives of others, insecurity in yourself does.

society doesnt prevent you from exploring but they do see it as a negative thing. women feel played. they want to be the only ones in your life. and you probably want to compare them but you will be seen as a player. and will have bad experiences

I think at your age it is ok to move about a bit, as long as you are up front and the other one knows you are not looking for commitment just yet. Life is a buffet, if you never sample, you wont know for sure what you missed.......

i dated 6 people before i found "the one" and it was just like in the movies. you will find the one you are meant to be with you just have to open your eyes
