Randy Couture is my hero , people say you cant have every one love you , but I think this guy pulled it off , he is such a class act , and a true warrior ,and he took out the giant Tim Silvia at the age of 45 ,thats insane!! just wondering dose any one not like Randy , and why?!

Thinking about it there are a number of guys in MMA I hate but I cannot even think of a reason why anyone would hate Randy Couture. He has accomplished so much, he has shown that age is nothing compared to heart, he has been a champion and he has always been the purest form of class. I have learned that you just have to root for Randy, there is no avoiding it, it is impossible to hate Randy.

You'll always find some one somewhere who won't like just about anyone. But really I have never meet him but from what I've seen He should be a hero to us all. The man is Captain America. Anyone, at his age, doing what he does is impressive. I'm 40 and jump in the cage from time to time in little "home town" shows but this guy go's against the best in the world AND WINS. Every interview I've ever seen him do he has nothing but nice things to say. I've never heard trash talk or Ego jump out of him at anypoint. A true human being. If the world was filled with Randy Couture's we'd be doing great.

Couture is a good example of a true martial artist. He not only mastered his fighting skills, but also himself. That's what true martial arts is about, conquering yourself and being able to make your mind one with your body. His greatest opponent is not the guy facing him in the octagon, he is fighting himself each time he steps inside the octagon, he's fighting old age and doubts about his ability. That he is able to conquer them is the reason why he wins in the octagon. He won the fight outside the octagon long before he steps inside it.

randy couture is one of the nicest guys not only in mma, but in all of professional sports. he is a true class act whom no one in there right mind could ever dislike, let alone hate.

I have met and trained with him a couple times.... this guy is the real deal. Not only is he a class act in the ring, but outside as well.... and now that his messy divorce is done, I think he is back for a while!

first off he's 43 not 45. Also, there's no reason to hate him. He's great, and his name is randy which is the best name ever. :)

in all honesty I can't see anyone with reason to hate him unless they know him personally.
as far as his public persona is concerned he is not "overhyped" he is just a fighter that made a comeback and pulled it off. have to respect him for that.
maybe hes a prick in real life, or maybe he is the nicest person on the planet. I don't know him personally so I can't speak on that.

Who's Randy Courture. What point tournaments does he go to. How many Black Belts do he have. That will tell you how good he is. I know a lot of guys that fight in their 50's they still win a lot of trophies ..

Randy Couture is the most loved mma fighter ever.
He is a CLASS ACT.
