What savings do you get with this. I have a coupon to get it for 5 bucks, just wondering if I should get it.

I think you don't have to pay a sitting fee for a year or two.

Free sitting fees for 2 years is the biggest perk right now. You used to get a free 8X10 each time you went in and a free proof sheet, but they've really cut back the benefits to just the free sittings. I got that email too (even though I'm already a member) and it said something about saving some ungodly amount of money--close to $300 bucks I think--but that was only based on going for pictures every 30 days. You just have to figure out how often you'll be going for pictures, with a baby you may be in there every month or two, but with older kids maybe only once a year. Either way, $5 is a pretty good deal when sitting fees can be $15 per session without being a club member.

I used that when my oldest son was born and I definately think it's worth it you don't have to pay sitting fees for 2 years..and you get great promotional items when you are part of the smile savers club.

Well, you don't have to pay the $10-15 sitting fee per visit (for 1 year). I think it's worth it. I get my kids pictures taken there. You can get a whole set of photos for $10!

Ya, my family portrait would consist of 2 humans, 3 cats, a parrot and some walking stick insects. NOT really a good combo there. Wait till I get the dog! What fun!
