Habit for food appetites, not sure that Americans have more of an appetite for sex or not. It may be encourage by the media or at least portrayed that way but haven't seen any proof whether Americans have a greater or lesser appetite for sex.

Is that a criticism? Many of us do not have large appetites for food. Ones sex life is a very private issue that usually is not discussed in polite company.

Hard to say. But I would venture to guess it's from the diverse culture we have here. There are all kinds of foods and women from different cultures to "taste." (pardon the pun)
