depends on what you did last weekend
If you, for example, went to the movies, you could say
"Je suis allé au cinéma"
or if you read a book " J'ai lu un livre"
and so on

I think the best responce would be to answer the question by listing some of the things you might have done last weekend...
and weekend isn't french, fin de semaine is french.
