Nothing lasts forever, but it doesn't mean it have to end once... everything has its good and bad periods, but usually things get solved. You can't expect everything to be pink and perfect forever, but that absolutely doesn't mean it will never be like that.

My parents have been married for over fifty years...looking at them I know that true love does exist. They never fight. They are perfect partners. There is no power struggle. It's like they are sharing the same mind on things. So, yes, it can happen. Just don't get sucked in to something bad b/c you are lonely. If you have a "higher power" ask for a good relationship. This is coming from a former agnostic. But now I believe in God.

God made humans to need other humans. Most of the time we make bad choices and have to suffer the outcomes, but God has a plan for your life and it probably includes a mate for life, since that was His plan in the beginning. Marriage is the hardest "business" you can get in, but the rewards are worth all the time and effort!

Happily ever after does work it you want it to. Of course there will be some bumps but if you love one another you'll get through them. Good luck to you and I'm sure you will find that true love you are looking for.

It's generally just in fairy tales...even those situations that last until the death of one party, tend to have their bumps and challenges. Helps us to appreciate the good times all the more. âº

only in fairy tales; no matter how blissful, no life is completely happy. the negativity that occurs in life makes happiness much more enjoyable and actually allows us to define it.

i think happily ever after is possible, but you have to work at it. Being happy takes work, no one taught us that when we were children! Good luck to you.

fairytales....even in a relationship where you love someone... there's going to be issues that you guys both have to settle.... my advice is pray (if you're christian or whatever) and ask God to put the right one in you're path....it worked for me.....
