Should I know better??/?

I dated a guy from a different country for a while, I ended up pregnant and keeping the baby. However when i was pregnant he was deported back to his own country, he promised for a long time to come back and i waited for close to 5 years on broken promises. We now have broken up for a while and I finally healed. The problem is I've started to fall for another guy, I know this guy because we've talked on the internet for over 6 yrs but I met him because he was a friend of the first guy they went to school together. They're not really good friends anymore so that's not an issue. He lives in the same country as me but far away from me. He's talking about coming to where I live to visit, but I'm scared that if i fall for him the same thing could happen again, I really like this guy but the idea of going through that again terrifies me. Can someone please tell me what I should do?

Look at your love life right this time... Love isn't enough and don't let a guy put that in front of you. Don't let "I love you, I'll figure it out" be enough, watch his actions the frist time he fs up with at a good REASON, cut him off. Make him work for it to don't give the heart away easy at all. If he really loves you he'll do everything in his power to make you comfrontable. Just remember dogs and cats can love to, but it takes that human brain to keep us out of trouble... use it this time.... if it tells you this isn't right, listen...
