i dont really understand the question. it pleases god to see us. you dont have to be a bible beater to please god. you can be a murderer and if thats what god put you here to do then it pleases him that your doing it. everybody cant be good. then what would good be? the way you are is the way god intended you to be hes a smart guy it pleases him to see the way he made you good or bad.

My issue with this is that a true deity worthy of worship would not expect you to "please" or "appease" it. So no, I don't feel a need to "please" my deities so much as learn from them and have a good working relationship with them.
